This may seem like a weird combination, but this is a killer juice. Truly unbelievable, it may be my new favorite. The trick is to have lots of strawberries and lots of orange juice. The blueberries shouldn’t be overpowering, you just want a few to add a bit of sweetness to the juice, which should be somewhat tart. It also gives it a rich, dark red color. Here are approximate amounts, but it depends a lot on the strawberries and blueberries – such as how sweet or tart they are.

For 2 glasses of this delicious, healthy, low fat juice:

    4 oranges
    10 strawberries
    1/4 cup blueberries

Wash well all fruit. Peel oranges, add to juicer, and then add the strawberries and blueberries. Juice. And enjoy!

This can easily be made with a blender, but you’ll have to strain it.

Yesterday I realized I had a ton of fruit I needed to use up.   I have mentioned in a previous post about one of my absolute favorite juices, apple orange and ginger.  This is a bit of a variation I suppose.  I didn’t actually expect it to turn out great, mainly because of the grapefruit, but WOW!   This juice was fantastic!!!  Not to mention insanely healthy with a great variety of low-calorie fruits.

Grapefruit Apple Orange Kiwi and Ginger Juicer

    2 Pink Grapefruits
1-2 inch piece of ginger, cleaned and peeled.
    2 granny smith apples
    1 kiwi
    2 oranges

Add all fruits to juicer and enjoy!! This makes 2 large glasses of juice.

This is a great juicing recipe if you want a nice, citrusy burst of Caribbean flavor. Take 1/3 pinnaple, 3 oranges, and 1 to 2 kiwis, add to your juicer, and you are set. This juice is truly delicious, and extremely easy to make. It can also be made in a blender. If in a hot location, this is a great chilled juice, because it is very refreshing.
