    Yesterday I realized I had a ton of fruit I needed to use up.   I have mentioned in a previous post about one of my absolute favorite juices, apple orange and ginger.  This is a bit of a variation I suppose.  I didn’t actually expect it to turn out great, mainly because of the grapefruit, but WOW!   This juice was fantastic!!!  Not to mention insanely healthy with a great variety of low-calorie fruits.

    Grapefruit Apple Orange Kiwi and Ginger Juicer

    2 Pink Grapefruits
    1-2 inch piece of ginger, cleaned and peeled.
    2 granny smith apples
    1 kiwi
    2 oranges

    Add all fruits to juicer and enjoy!! This makes 2 large glasses of juice.

    While I am sure this already existed somewhere, it was one I came up with myself, and its possible my favorite juice that I make.  You will need:

    1 granny smith apple
    1 red apple (macintosh is best, but can be fuji, red delicious, etc.)
    1 inch piece of ginger
    2 medium oranges

    Put all of these through the juicer, and enjoy!! This juice is amazing. The flavor is delicious, and has a slight bite to it because of the ginger. It also has a really unique consistency, because of the apple. Needless to say, this is a super healthy drink. Apples and oranges are two of the most healthy fruits available, and you add the benefits of fresh ginger to that, you are getting a juice jam packed with vitamins and minerals.
